Privacy Policy
Consent-first data. Learner-owned proof. Your truth travels with you.
Core Privacy Principles
NuMuN operates on consent-first architecture. Every data point serves a clear purpose: turning overwhelm into orientation and creating verifiable proof of your journey.
- • Minimal collection - Only data that directly helps your growth
- • Edge-first processing - Computations happen locally when possible
- • Learner ownership - Your skills ledger is permanently yours
- • Transparent purpose - Every data use explained clearly
Your Control
You own your data. Export it anytime. Delete it anytime. We use cryptographic signatures to ensure your achievements remain verifiable even after account deletion. Your ledger is yours forever, portable and provable.
Third-Party Integrations
When you connect services like Slack, Google Calendar, or health trackers, we access only the minimum data needed. Each integration requires explicit consent and can be revoked instantly. We never store credentials - only temporary access tokens.
Built on Trust
Your Private Skills Ledger uses cryptographic chaining — each entry contains a hash of the previous one, creating an immutable record. This isn't just security theater; it's the foundation of "proof over pedigree."
The Trust Layer ensures: Even after you leave NuMuN, your achievements remain verifiable. Export your ledger, share verification tokens, and let anyone confirm your journey — without revealing personal data.
Sharing
We never sell your data. Employers see only what you explicitly share via verified snapshots. Your learning journey remains private unless you choose to make it visible. You control every share, every view, every verification.
Demo Environment
This is a demonstration of NuMuN's privacy controls. In production, all security measures are enforced through cryptographic verification and blockchain-inspired ledger technology.
Role-Based Privacy
Learner Privacy
Your detailed learning journey stays private. You choose what to share and when. Even supervisors only see agreed-upon competencies, not your practice attempts or exploration paths.
Educator Access
Educators see class-level trends and individual progress only for students in their classes. They cannot access personal health data or activities outside their course scope. All access is logged and auditable.
Parent Visibility
Parents see curated progress summaries, not granular data. Young learners (under 13) require parental consent, with special privacy protections and simplified data collection.
Employer Matching
Your profile is never searchable by default. Employers can only see anonymized skill matches until you choose to reveal your identity. Even then, they see only verified competencies, not your full learning history.
